Up Next at Greene Ministries

Dear Friends of Greene Ministries,

We are so thankful for each of you. Your prayers and support of our work at Grace Community Church over the last 40 years have helped to sustain us. 

As we launch Greene Ministries, we are seeking your continued support. We need your help to make our mission possible, as we are solely supported by people like you.

Our ministry has two key focuses. First, equipping pastors and church leaders globally. This effort has led us to work in Cuba, a country once previously closed to the gospel. 

In one month, Debbie and I will head to Cuba. This will be the first time for Debbie, and my 4th time in the country. I will be leading 10 days of in-depth theological training. After the training, the pastors and wives will participate in a 3-day marriage seminar that Debbie and I will lead. These 15 days will cost us approximately $6,000. 

The people and pastors there are living in very adverse conditions. They live on $30 to $40 per month. They have rolling blackouts of electricity and have shortages of food, medicine, hygiene items, and fuel. While 10 million people remain, there has been an exodus out of the country. The pastors who remain are asking to be mentored and equipped for ministry. The marriages there are under great strain; we will encourage them with a retreat.

Our second area of focus is on marriages. During our 40 years at Grace, we have mentored and counseled many couples.  We are currently working with three couples who are preparing for marriage. We are planning to hold 2-3 more marriage retreats this year.

As we come to the end of the year and as we gather our resources to go, would you be willing to 1) pray for us and 2) financially support our ministry? We especially need monthly partners.
