Closing out 2024

Dear Partners to Greene Ministries,

Greene Ministries is ready to spring into action in 2025. We are currently finishing our packing and awaiting the arrival of the moving truck on January 6. We will arrive in Florida the week of January 12 and be on the mission field of Cuba by January 19. 

The end of 2024 is largely saying goodbye to some of our dearest friends we have known for all or some of our 40 years in Frederick. We cherish these relationships and want to stay connected even though we will live in different cities. We will make an effort to let you know the latest in our lives and would like you to keep in touch with us. 

We know that part of leaving Frederick is God calling us to our next assignment with the launch of Greene Ministries. 

Leaving places and people you love is very hard. Jesus knows all about leaving. He left a perfect place, heaven, to come to an imperfect place earth. He left the place of His birth, Bethlehem, to flee with his parents to a safer place, Egypt. He would say goodbye to his home in Nazareth and his dear mother, brothers and sister to go to Capernaum and other cities to minister the gospel. He would leave His disciples to go to the cross. He would leave this earth to return to His father. He completely understands how hard it is to leave and He was completely obedient to the assignment the Father gave Him. 

It is our desire to follow Jesus in this new assignment realizing He and his people are praying for us in the transition. 

As 2024 comes to a close and 2025 begins, we want to thank you for the prayers and gifts you are giving to make this possible.
